Sardar Sarovar Dam
The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a concrete gravity dam built on the Narmada river in Navagam near Kevadiya, Narmada District , Gujarat in India. The foundation stone of the project was laid out by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on 5 April 1961.
One of the 30 dams planned on river Narmada, Sardar Sarovar Dam (SSD) is the largest structure to be built. It is the second largest concrete dam in the world in terms of the volume of concrete used in its construction, after the Grand Coulee dam across River Columbia, US.
Valley of flowers
The Valley of Flowers is spread across 600 acres, which is 6 kms away from Vindhyachal, 11 kms away from Satpuda range and 2.4 kms away from the Statue of Unity. Started as a garden with 48,000 plants in 2016 went on to nurture 2,40,000 plants in three years.

The Cactus Garden
Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation, an autonomous body set up by the Forests & Environment Department, Govt. of Gujarat has taken the initiative of creating a Cactus Garden. Here you will find 500 species of cactus and succulent plants with a multitude of shapes and sizes spreads over 836 square meters.

Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary
Span across 607.71 sq. km. Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Narmada district of Gujarat. Experience the beauty of forest and explore 575 species of flowering plants like timru, aritha, amla, amaltas, khair, tanachh, sadad, karanj, bamboo, bor, mahuda, herde etc. home to 32 species of mammals, several species of reptiles, 198 species of birds and many animals, including the rare flying squirrels.
Built by Maharana Chhatra Sinhji for his son Yuvraj Vijay Sinhji in 1910. The Vijay palace has Victorian architecture with semi-circular portico as the entrance, Corinthian pillars, Gothic arches, European domes and breathtaking views of the river. An old-world charm that you just cannot miss!
Garudeshwar Mahadev is an ancient temple of Lord Shiva located on the northern bank of river Narmada. Garudeshwar temple is around 2000 years old, and It is said that Lord Shiva took the form of an eagle to destroy evil forces, which is the reason it is called Garudeshwar Mahadev.
